Getting to North Straddie is easy.

Approximately 30 min drive from Brisbane Airport to Cleveland.

Cleveland Ferry Terminals offer water taxi and vehicular ferry services. An enjoyable trip of 30 -45 min depending on service type (keep an eye out for Turtles, Dolphins or Dugong).

Stradbroke Beach House is located at Point Lookout. Point lookout is situated on the north east of North Stradbroke Island.

From the Stradbroke ferry terminal at Dunwich the road is to Point Lookout is sealed bitumen (4WD is not required, even though North Stradbroke Island is one of the great Sand Islands of the world).

To ensure North Stradbroke stays as beautiful for future visitors 4WD permits are required for beach driving. There are several designated 4WD tracks accessible from different points on the island. (Road rules apply when driving on beaches and inland roads and tracks).

Sensitive areas such as Dunes are reserved and protected areas, your care will ensure these beautiful environments remain undamaged by vehicles. (see permit guide for details).
